If you already have your Scuba license we can recommend various dive trips around the Barra Grande peninsula, which can be done as a day trip from Itacaré.

If you've never dived before but would like to give it a go, the best location for an 'introductory dive' is at Taipu de Fora beach, during our Peninsula de Marau excursion. Taipu de Fora has rich flora and sea fauna including turtles, rays and more than 20 species of fish. You don't need any experience to do an introductory dive. The clear, warm and shallow waters create the perfect conditions for beginners. You won't go more than just a few metres down and you'll be supervised by a qualified professional dive master the whole time.

Details of Introductory dive (Batismo):

- Theoretical class in English and Portuguese – 20 minutes;

- Practice - 15 minutes;

- Recreation diving – 25 minutes.

Note: All diving equipment is included.

Transport: Land rover, approx 1 hour drive each way.

Pick-up/Return: 7:30hrs / 18hrs.
